Meet the Team
Sharon Wratchford
Sharon Wratchford is the Principal Agent. She is the wife of Jim Wratchford and the mother of Colleen Shockey and Jared Wratchford. She has been a licensed agent for 35 years. She began working at Baker Insurance Services for Donald J. Baker Jr. when it first opened in 1997. She purchased the agency in 2015 after Don’s retirement. She is an avid WVU Mountaineers fan and loves spending time with her three granddaughters, Presley, Mya and Julia, and grandson, Jace.
Colleen Shockey
Colleen Shockey has been an agent at Baker Insurance Services since January 2015. She is the daughter of Sharon Wratchford. Colleen graduated from Moorefield High School in 2004 and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Shepherd University in 2008. She and her husband JR are the proud parents of two daughters, Presley and Mya. She loves her local community and enjoys servicing their insurance needs every day.
Lisa Pratt
Lisa began working at Baker Insurance Services on November 1, 2023. She has worked in Customer Service for over 45 years. She was born and raised in Petersburg but has resided in Moorefield with her husband for 11 years. They have two sons and a grandson, and a dog named Chanel. She loves summertime, and enjoys the beach, long car rides in the countryside, and being outside when possible.
MaKayla Young
MaKayla began working with Baker Insurance in June 2025. She lives in Moorefield with her husband Jacob and son Jackson. She loves spending time with her family and reading and shooting Muzzleloaders with the Potomac Valley Muzzleloaders. She graduated from Moorefield High School in 2017. MaKayla earned an associate in business management degree at Eastern WV Community & Technical College in May of 2020.
